| Summary | Quite simply we were driving through a construction zone that was down to one lane with monitored traffic. My wife was driving and approaching a steel plate in the road that was laid on top of existing asphalt. While slowing down to move over the plate at a slower rate of speed the automatic breaking brought the car to an unnecessary stop almost causing a collision from behind. This was super scary and alarming. Will this happen if we are going 35, 55, 70 mph? |
