2022 Honda Civic Complaint — FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE (ODI 11467899)
On several (more than 10) occasions, my vehicle at random has randomly either shown me "BRAKE" or it actually started to brake for me for absolutely nothing. On at least 3 occasions, most recently 5/9/22, the AEB system has activated with nothing in front of me on a straight, level road. Third-party forums report that

| Summary | On several (more than 10) occasions, my vehicle at random has randomly either shown me "BRAKE" or it actually started to brake for me for absolutely nothing. On at least 3 occasions, most recently 5/9/22, the AEB system has activated with nothing in front of me on a straight, level road. Third-party forums report that this is a known issue as well. Thankfully no one was behind me as the system activating would have rapidly slowed the car had I not intervened. |
