| Description | The United States Embassy is pleased to announce the 2022 Annual Program Statement (APS). The APS makes funding available for cultural and exchange programs that strengthen ties between the United States and Italy, highlight shared values, and promote bilateral cooperation. The APS is a best practice utilized by many U.S. embassies around the world to solicit proposals for funding via an open and transparent competition process. The United States Embassy invites proposals from all qualified individuals and organizations. All programs must include a significant American cultural element and/or a connection with American experts, organizations or institutions in a specific field that will promote increased understanding of U.S. foreign policy and perspectives.
