| Abstract | This proposal will support the participation of early career scientists in the June 2025 Interior of the Earth Gordon Research Conference and Gordon Research Seminar. These meetings will focus on the impacts of volatiles, in particular water and carbon, on processes in the Earth’s interior. These impacts include the softening and melting of mantle rocks, with consequences on tectonic plates and the circulation of mantle material, and how the properties of Earth’s interior have evolved over time. |
