The IFR was originally set to go into effect February 10, 2025, but the effective date was delayed several times until July 21, 2025, to provide time for review pursuant to the memorandum of January 20, 2025, from President Donald J. Trump, entitled Regulatory Freeze Pending Review. The IFR became effective on July 21, 2025. |
