| Who can participate | Inclusion criteria: * Patients with histologically confirmed fatty liver disease Exclusion criteria: * History of significant alcohol consumption * Viral hepatitis * Autoimmune hepatitis * Metabolic diseases (e.g. hemochromatosis, M. Wilson, alpha 1-antitrypsin deficiency) * Hepatotoxic medication (e.g. amiodarone). |
